WRITING
                Plays produced in London, New York, Chicago, Denver, Vermont, Creede , CO & Taos, NM.  
Production highlights include: Cabin Fever (1987), Son of Cabin Fever (1989) Changing Scene, Denver. After Duke, (1988) West Bank Cafe, New York, (1992) Theatre Building, Chicago. Wolf bane (1995) Organic Theater, Chicago.  The Dead Comic, (1998) Phantom Theatre, Warren, Vermont.
Pan & Boone, (2002) Theatre Dappertutto, London. Running with Scissors, Chicago. (2003) Creede Repertory Company (Colorado), Taos (New Mexico), & Denver. Emilia’s Tree, Lullaby Bay, Scruff Turbo and the Children of the Future, Meet the Beasts, Grimm Pajamas, Zeus on the Loose, Swiss Family Robinson (2005-2009) Creed Repertory Theatre. I was a Teenage Immortal: Geek Mythology (2013) Coterie Theatre                
             
The Dead Comic, an animated film, also character design, performed the voice.

Reynard Blanc “serial cyber-novel.” Also animated, performed the voice of Reynard.                  
HALLOWENIES: A series of edgy children’s books, including:  The Scariest Things, A is for  Ahhh!, Pat the Bat”, The Lonely Stone.. 
 
Slides of My Trip to Hell   An adaptation of Dante’s Inferno. Executed 100 original watercolor  illustrations to serve as “slides”.   

   ART
 Designed and executed  posters, t-shirts, sideshow banners, outdoor murals, cartoons, postcards, pen-and-ink drawings, etc. Work has appeared in Aspen Magazine, Haunted Attractions Magazine , Giggle & Weep (creator) and the Chicago Tribune.  
               
Scenic Design
Pan & Boone, The Spitfire Grill, Slabtown, Crazy for You, Enchanted April, Billy Hell, The man who shot..Jessse James, A Wonderful Noise, Swiss Family Robinson. among others. 
 

Scary Carey (2005) A one-man retrospective containing over 300 original pieces, which ran for 6 weeks at the Phantom Gallery in the historic D&F tower in Downtown Denver.   

  Sketches of Wretches (2005) a one-man show at the North side Bean, Taos, N.M.  
  Scenic View Inc. Chicago, IL (1995 - 2000) Worked as Scenic Artist.  
  Hades Haunted House, Chicago, IL  (1991-2001) Worked as an actor, director, designer, writer, animator, carpenter, welder, sculptor, painter, illustrator, muralist, and make-up artist.  

TEACHING
Taught two Acting classes, and one Playwriting class for Arapahoe Community College. 2013-14   

EDUCATION
New York University, 1983, B.F.A. -- Acting
The National Theatre Conservatory in 1986, M.F.A. -- Dramatic Writing
Studied writing with Romulus Linney, David Mamet, Peter Parnell, & James Dickey.
Member of the Playwright’s Unit at the Denver Center Theatre Company,
Playwright’s Horizons, and the Organic Theater in Chicago.  

PERFORMANCE
Performed in over sixty productions, in New York, Chicago, Denver and Vermont.
